Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar (less 3 Tbsp.)
dash of salt
6 eggs
1 pt. plus 2 Tbsp. milk
1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation

Cream butter, sugar and salt.
Add three eggs and beat.
Add three more eggs and beat.
Add milk.
Pour into uncooked crust and cook 10 minutes at 450\u00b0.
Turn heat down to 325\u00b0 and bake 25 minutes longer until set.
If desired, sprinkle top with nutmeg just before baking.
