Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. round steak
    1 onion, sliced
    1 large green pepper, cut in rings
    1 small can tomato sauce
    1 can Franco-American mushroom gravy
Preparation
    Brown steak, salt and pepper.
    Add 1 cup water.
    Cover.
    Cook 2 hours on simmer or low heat.
    Arrange onion and green pepper on top of steak.
    Pour tomato sauce and gravy on top.
    Cover and cook another 1 hour or until tender.
    Serve over rice.
