Eggless, Milkless And Butterless Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) box sticky raisins, stewed in 2 c. water
    1 c. cold water
    1/2 c. lard
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. soda, dissolved in hot water
    flour
Preparation
    To the raisin-water mixture, add cold water, lard, sugar, nutmeg, cloves, salt and dissolved soda.
    Add enough flour to stiffen.
    Bake for 45 minutes at 375\u00b0.
