Harvard Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can beets (whole or sliced)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Mix sugar, vinegar, salt and cornstarch together.
    Cook until thick.
    Add butter and beets and cook until beets are heated through.
