Wedding Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large cans pineapple juice (sweet)
    2 large cans orange juice
    2 (8 oz.) jars maraschino cherries, cut in half
    juice of 4 lemons (no rinds)
    2 large ripe bananas, mashed
    3 lb. sugar
Preparation
    Mix and let stand 3 or 4 hours or overnight.
    When ready to serve, add 1 large bottle of ginger ale and ice water to suit your taste.
