My Favorite Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (11 oz.) can Mandarin oranges, drained
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. miniature marshmallows
    1 (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, drained
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained
    2 c. (1 pt.) whipped topping
    6 Tbsp. powdered sugar
    3 ripe bananas, thinly sliced
    1 can Angel Flake coconut, shredded
Preparation
    Combine the first 5 ingredients in a large bowl.
    Beat whipping cream.
    Add sugar, beating until stiff forms.
    Fold cream into fruit mixture.
    Chill for 2 to 3 hours.
    Add bananas just before serving time.
    Sprinkle with coconut.
    Serves about 6.
