*Mititei(Romanian Chopped Meat Fingers) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 cloves garlic
    1/4 c. water
    1 c. beef stock or 1 Knorr beef cube
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. thyme
    2 lb. ground chuck
Preparation
    In a blender, combine garlic and water, chopping to make a paste. Add and blend together the beef stock, baking soda, salt and thyme.
    Add to meat and mix thoroughly, kneading meat.
    Form 1/3 cup of mixture into sausages the size of a finger.
    Broil on all sides on grill.
