Pineapple Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
    2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 3/4 c. confectioners sugar
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix the sugar and eggs in a large mixing bowl.
    Stir in pineapple.
    Sift together the dry ingredients; add to mixture, stirring until blended.
    Stir in vanilla and pecans.
    Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
    Cool 30 minutes.
    Top with frosting.
