Aunt Carrie'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter or oleo
    2 c. white sugar
    4 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream together butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Sift together flour and baking powder and add alternately with milk and vanilla.
    Bake in tube pan at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes, then at 350\u00b0 for about 35 minutes.
