Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. uncooked rice
1 large onion, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
1 envelope Lipton dry chicken noodle soup
4 1/2 c. water
1 lb. ground sausage
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 lb. chopped almonds
Preparation

Brown sausage and drain.
In a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish, layer the rice, onion, celery and soup mix, in that order.
Over this, pour the water.
Top with the browned sausage.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Remove from oven and spread the cream of mushroom soup on top.
Top with almonds and bake 15 minutes longer.
