Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. soft butter
    1 c. peanut butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 1/2 c. 10x sugar
Preparation
    Blend butter into syrup; stir in peanut butter, salt and vanilla.
    Mix well until creamy.
    Stir in 10x sugar.
    Turn candy onto pastry board; knead until blended and smooth.
    Add nuts gradually, pressing and kneading into dough.
    Press candy into greased 8-inch square pan.
    Chill for 1 hour.
    Cut into squares. Yield:
    2 pounds.
