Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small bag red beans, soaked overnight or 2 to 3 hours
    2 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 lb. Polish sausage, cut into small pieces or 1 lb. little smokies
    rice
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Cook in a slow cooker on low all day (about 6 to 8 hours).
    Take a few of the beans out and mash them; add to the other beans to thicken gravy.
    Serve over cooked rice.
