Cherry Yum Yum - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. graham cracker crumbs
    1 1/2 sticks margarine, melted
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 envelopes whipped topping mix
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Mix cracker crumbs and margarine.
    Spread 1/2 this mixture in an 8 x 10-inch pan.
    Cream the cream cheese and sugar.
    Prepare both packages of whipped topping mix according to package directions.
    Add cream cheese mixture to whipped topping; mix thoroughly.
    Put 1/2 of this mixture over the first layer of crumbs.
    Spread pie filling over that, then remainder of whipped topping over pie filling, then remainder of crumbs.
