Ingredients

3 c. sifted powder
8 Tbsp. powdered sugar
1/2 lb. butter
2 egg yolks
1 (14 oz.) bag Kraft caramels
3/4 c. milk
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar; add yolks and flour.
Form into 1-inch balls.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
While warm, insert round toothpicks and cool.
Melt caramels with milk.
Dip cookie into caramel mix and roll very carefully into finely chopped nuts just around sides so it looks like a taffy apple.
Keep caramel mix warm or it will harden.
