Cabbage Patch Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped onions
1 qt. tomatoes and juice
1 small can tomato sauce
salt and pepper to taste
1 c. chopped celery
1 tsp. chili powder
1 qt. water
1 (14 oz.) can kidney beans
1/2 head chopped cabbage
Preparation

Brown hamburger and drain.
Add all other ingredients except cabbage.
Simmer 15 minutes.
Add cabbage; simmer until flavor is blended and cabbage is cooked.
The longer it simmers the better it tastes.
Can be frozen and then reheated (flavor improves).
