Tourtiere(Pork Or Beef Pie) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or pork
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1 tsp. poultry seasoning
    1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
    1 c. water
    pastry for 2-crust 8-inch pie
Preparation
    In saucepan combine all ingredients (except pastry).
    Cover and simmer about 30 minutes.
    Uncover and cook 10 minutes more. Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Line pie pan with pastry.
    Pour in mixture and cover with remaining pastry.
    Press edges together.
    Prick top; bake pie 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 30 minutes longer.
