Beets In Orange Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cans sliced beets
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    3 tsp. grated orange rind
    2-1/4 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    1-1/4 cup orange juice
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    In a saucepan, stir together brown sugar, cornstarch, orange peel, salt and pepper.
    Stir in orange juice and vinegar.
    Cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and gets bubbly.
    Cook 1 to 2 minutes.
    Stir in beets and cook until beets are hot. Serves 12.
