Blueberry Pinwheel Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. lemon juice
    1/2 c. butter flavored Crisco
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1/3 c. milk
    2 c. fresh blueberries or other fruit
    1/2 c. butter
Preparation
    Combine sugar
    and
    water
    in
    saucepan; then stir well until sugar
    dissolves.
    Stir
    in vanilla and lemon juice. Set aside. Cut
    Crisco
    into
    flour until mixture resembles meal. Add milk and stir until dry ingredients are moist.
    Turn dough onto floured surface and knead lightly 4 to 5 times.
