Golden Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted plain flour
    1 c. yellow corn meal
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. sugar
    4 tsp. baking powder
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/3 c. melted margarine
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine flour, meal, salt, sugar and baking powder and mix well.
    Add beaten eggs and milk together and pour slowly into dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
    Add melted margarine.
    Pour into an 8-inch square baking pan that has been greased and bake at 425\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
    Makes 16 servings.
