Sweet-Sour Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 lb. sliced cabbage
2 large onions, chopped
2 Tbsp. salt
1/2 Tbsp. white pepper
1 to 2 c. bacon grease
1 1/2 qt. water
2 c. sugar
2 c. vinegar
Preparation
-
Put first 6 ingredients all together in a very large kettle and boil about 15 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients (can use more or less to taste).
Cook another 15 minutes.
