Marinated Cabbage Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head cabbage, shredded
1 green pepper, chopped
1 red or white onion, chopped
1 jar chopped pimento
1 c. white vinegar
1 Tbsp. salt
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. oil
1 Tbsp. celery seed
Preparation
-
Combine first 4 ingredients in bowl.
Heat vinegar with remaining ingredients in saucepan until sugar dissolves, stirring frequently.
Pour over cabbage mixture.
Chill for 24 hours to 1 week.
Yield:
12 to 14 servings.
