Banana-Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. self-rising corn meal
    1 c. self-rising flour
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped nuts
    2 eggs
    1 c. mashed bananas
    1/3 c. melted shortening
Preparation
    Blend corn meal, flour, sugar and nuts.
    Beat eggs until foamy.
    Add mashed bananas to egg, then add to the dry ingredients.
    Stir in melted shortening.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
