Baklava - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. each finely chopped walnuts and almonds
3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 lb. filo (pastry sheets)
1 lb. sweet butter, melted
Preparation

In 12 x 18-inch pan place 1 sheet of pastry.
Brush with melted butter.
Do this with 5 more sheets of pastry.
Starting with the 6th sheet, brush with butter, then sprinkle with nuts and sugar/cinnamon mixture. Do this with each sheet until 6 sheets are left.
Continue to layer remaining sheets, brushing with butter. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Pour hot syrup over baklava and let stand for 3 hours.
