Bee Sting Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oleo
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. water
    4 Tbsp. corn syrup
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 chocolate cake mix and ingredients for mixing
    1 large Cool Whip
    1 small instant vanilla pudding
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Melt oleo in pan.
    Add brown sugar, corn syrup and water.
    Stir over moderate heat until mixture simmers and sugar dissolves.
    Pour 1/2 of syrup into each of the two greased and floured 9-inch round cake pans lined with wax paper.
    Sprinkle with nuts.
    Mix cake according to package directions and divide in each pan.
    Bake according to package.
    Cool 5 minutes and remove from pans.
    Scrape any topping off and spread on cake.
    Cool completely.
    Beat Cool Whip, pudding and milk until thick.
    Spread on both layers.
    Top with second layer.
    Spread frosting on top.
    Refrigerate.
