Picante Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 gal. chopped tomatoes
2 onions, chopped
2 bell peppers, chopped
hot peppers to taste, chopped
2 tsp. salt
1 c. vinegar
1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
-
Mix and cook 1 to 1 1/2 hours on medium heat, stirring with a wooden spoon occasionally.
Can or refrigerate.
Yields 5 or 6 pints.
