Old Fashion Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk, scalded (I use 1 c. homogenized and 1 c. evaporated)
    4 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Heat milk
    with butter until it smokes good, but do not boil. Using
    a
    blender
    or mixer, beat eggs well.
    Add sugar and vanilla;
    beat
    well again.
    Add heated milk and mix well. You must use
    a
    deep dish pie crust and flute the rim as high as possible,
    because\tit
    will
    fill up to the top.
    Sprinkle nutmeg on top.
