Cabbage Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 lb. ground beef
    1 1/4 lb. ground pork
    2 large heads cabbage
    paprika
    salt
    pepper
    2 cloves garlic or 1 tsp. granulated
    4 oz. rice
    8 oz. tomato sauce
    1 large onion
    1 lb. sauerkraut
    8 oz. water
Preparation
    Partially cook rice (half done).
    Pour off excess water. Cool.
    Cut out core of cabbage.
    Steam cabbage in Dutch oven to soften leaves.
    Remove leaves gently; drain.
    Combine cooked rice, ground beef, pork, minced onion and garlic; salt and pepper to taste.
