Taco Dip - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion (optional)
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese*
2 pkg. taco seasoning
1 to 2 medium tomatoes, diced
1 finely chopped green pepper
1 large can sliced black olives
1 (12 oz.) pkg. grated Cheddar or American cheese
Preparation

Brown ground beef with onion (if used).
Drain off fat and cool.
Mix well the 2 packages of cream cheese with 1 package taco seasoning.
Take a glass serving platter and spread cream cheese mixture with a rubber spatula onto it.
Sprinkle the cooled ground beef evenly on top of this.
Sprinkle tomatoes, green bell pepper and black olives on top of this.
Sprinkle grated cheese on top. Sprinkle about 1/2 to 3/4 of remaining package of taco seasoning evenly on top of the shredded cheese; chill overnight.
Serve with Fritos, Doritos or tortilla chips.
Serves 15 to 20 people.
