Tomato Vinaigrette - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. olive oil
    1 1/4 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    24 oz. diced canned tomatoes, drained
    1/3 c. white onion, chopped fine
    1 tsp. white pepper
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. minced fresh thyme
    1 tsp. minced fresh basil
Preparation
    With mixer on slow, blend oil and vinegar.
    Gradually add sugar; mix until sugar is dissolved.
    Stir in tomatoes; add remaining ingredients.
    Store in refrigerator for 24 hours prior to use.
    Makes 1 quart.
