Spoonbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. evaporated milk
1 c. water
1 c. cornmeal
2 Tbsp. margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, separated
1 stick melted butter
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar or to desired taste
chopped nuts
confectioners glaze
Preparation
-
Take 1/3 of dough and shape into oval shape.
Place on pastry sheet and using rolling pin (filled with warm water) roll into rectangular shape, approximately 1/4-inch thick.
