West Virginia Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. warm water
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    about 3 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Combine water, sugar, yeast and shortening.
    Mix well.
    Mix in enough of the flour to make a workable dough to roll out for biscuits.
    Roll dough and cut out biscuits.
    Place on greased baking sheet.
    Let stand 1 hour in warm place.
