Elderberry Wine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. berries
    1 gal. warm water
    3 or 4 lb. sugar
Preparation
    Place 1 gallon berries in crock.
    Pour warm water over berries. Let stand without stirring for 10 days.
    Then strain off carefully through sieve.
    Do not crush berries.
    Add sugar.
    Bottle one month later.
