Finger Paint - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. elastic dry starch
1 c. cold water
3 c. boiling water
1 c. Ivory soap flakes
few drops of oil of cloves (to serve as a preservative)
calcimine pigment or vegetable coloring
Preparation

Dissolve elastic starch in cold water.
Smooth out lumps and add boiling water.
Stir constantly.
Cook until mixture thickens, but do not boil for more than 1 minute.
Add remaining ingredients.
