Firehouse Spaghetti - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 to 3 lb. ground chuck
1 large bottle Prego spaghetti sauce
1 lb. fresh mushrooms
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 Tbsp. salt
1 tsp. hot red pepper
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 lb. ground mild sausage
1 (12 oz.) can tomato sauce
4 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. oregano
1 Tbsp. pepper
3 medium onions, diced
2 lb. thin spaghetti
Preparation

Brown ground chuck, sausage, onions, green pepper and mushrooms. Combine with seasonings, except sugar. Add tomato and Prego sauces, then add sugar. Bring to boil and simmer for a minimum of 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add water for desired consistency. Serve over cooked spaghetti. Serves 6.
