Green Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice
    2 c. chicken broth
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 can mushrooms
    1/2 c. chopped green onions
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Melt butter in skillet.
    Lightly brown rice and onion whites. Add chicken broth.
    Bring to a boil and cover.
    Let simmer on low for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Add mushrooms, onion greens, salt and pepper.
    Simmer 2 minutes.
