Strawberry Angel Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. Stella D'Oro angel puffs
1 pt. strawberries, cleaned and slightly mashed
8 oz. Cool Whip
4 oz. softened cream cheese

Preparation

Carefully slice cookies in half.
Whip together Cool Whip and cream cheese.
Drain most of juice from berries. Add to cream cheese mixture.
Put small amount of mixture on half of cookie and top with other half.
Cool before serving at least 1 hour.
May substitute 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple or lemon pudding for berries.
