Pheasant Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boned pheasant, sliced
    1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
    1 large onion, chopped
    8 oz. water chestnuts, chopped
    1 box Uncle Ben's wild rice mix
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 c. butter
    1 3/4 c. chicken broth
    1/2 c. milk
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Saute onions, mushrooms and pheasant; add water chestnuts. Cook rice according to package directions.
    Make a white sauce with the flour, butter, milk, chicken broth, salt and pepper.
    Toss pheasant-mushroom mixture and rice together.
    Pour sauce over and toss again.
