Unleavened Or Communion Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 c. vegetable (no salt) shortening
    1/3 c. ice water
Preparation
    Mix flour and shortening with a fork.
    Add ice water slowly and only a little at a time.
    Mix until all flour is moistened and dough forms a ball.
    Divide dough into thirds.
    Roll out on a lightly floured board.
    Cut in 4-inch circles.
    Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
    Prick all over with a fork.
    Mark each circle across the back of a knife so it can be broken in half when placed on a plate.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes or until thoroughly dry, but not very brown.
    Cool on rack before storing.
