Ingredients

1 c. unseasoned mashed potatoes (cool)
2 eggs
4 c. flour
4 Tbsp. melted shortening
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. sweet milk
5 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ginger
Preparation

Beat potatoes, sugar, eggs, sweet milk until no lumps in potatoes.
Add rest of ingredients.
Chill dough, roll out and cut.
Fry on each side to desired browness in hot grease.
Test with fork - if it comes out clean, they're done.
