Favas (Horse Beans)(Portuguese Style) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. horse beans
1/3 c. vinegar
2 tsp. rock salt
3 cloves garlic, crushed
5 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 small red chili pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. parsley
Preparation

Rinse beans in running water; cover generously with water and let soak overnight.
Bring water and beans to a boil and cook for 2 1/2 hours, checking frequently to see that beans have enough water to prevent scorching.
