4 Spice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can diced chik
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. oregano
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1/8 tsp. thyme
    1/2 small bay leaf
    1 lb. can tomatoes
    1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. Minute rice
    2 to 3 slices American cheese
    sliced stuffed olives
Preparation
    Cut American cheese slices into 1/2-inch strips.
    Saute onion and stir in seasonings, tomatoes and soup.
    Add rice.
    Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Add can of diced chik, partially drained.
    Spoon into a 1 1/2-quart baking dish and top with cheese.
    Place under broiler until cheese is melted. Garnish with sliced stuffed olives.
    Serves 4.
