Lemon Oat Lacies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
3 c. oats (any kind)
1 Tbsp. grated lemon peel
1 tsp. vanilla
powdered sugar
Preparation

Beat butter until creamy.
Add next 5 ingredients; mix well. Cover and chill 30 minutes.
Heat oven to 350\u00b0 and remove dough from fridge.
Shape into 1 inch balls.
Place balls on cookie sheet and flatten with bottom of glass dipped in powdered sugar.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes, until edges are light golden brown.
Cool one minute on sheet, then transfer to wire rack and cool completely.
Makes about 4 1/2 dozen.
