Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. self-rising flour (White Lily)
    1/4 c. Crisco
    1/3 to 1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix flour and Crisco well.
    Add buttermilk.
    Mix with fork and beat; pour out on wax paper that has been floured.
    Knead and pinch off; roll in palm of hand.
    Makes 7 to 8 biscuits.
    Easily doubles.
