West Virginia Blackberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. margarine
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. blackberries
3 c. flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Cream sugar and butter.
Beat eggs and add to sugar and butter mixture.
Mix flour, buttermilk, spices, soda and baking powder thoroughly.
Then add blackberries.
Bake in three layers for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
