Chicken Jambalaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken
    1 c. rice (not Minute rice)
    2 medium onions, chopped
    salt and pepper
    1 can tomatoes
Preparation
    Cook chicken and debone.
    Take about 3 or 4 tablespoons of fat; put in a skillet.
    Add rice; stir often until rice is brown. Add chopped onions while rice is browning, if desired.
    Add tomatoes and some broth of chicken.
    Add cup at a time, until rice is done and not too dry.
    Add chicken; cook 15 or 20 minutes longer.
