Pickled Peaches - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 to 16 medium peaches
1 Tbsp. whole cloves
2 c. cider vinegar
2 c. sugar
6 sticks cinnamon
Preparation

Use firm, but ripe peaches.
Pare thinly.
Mix vinegar, sugar, stick cinnamon and cloves.
Bring to a boil.
Add peaches and boil gently until tender, 8 to 10 minutes.
Pack in hot sterile jars. Add hot syrup to within 1/4-inch of top, then seal.
Makes 2 quarts.
Chill before serving.
