Pickled Okra - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. vinegar
    6 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    6 garlic buttons
    6 hot red peppers
    6 pt. small okra
Preparation
    Pack raw okra into hot pint jars.
    Add 1 hot pepper and 1 garlic bud to each jar.
    Bring to a boil the vinegar, salt and celery seed; pour over okra in jars.
    Seal with hot lids.
    Let stand 10 days before serving.
    Chill before use to insure crispness.
