Marinated Carrot Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. carrots, peeled and sliced thin
    1 large onion, sliced and separated into rings
    1 large green pepper, sliced into strips
    1 can tomato soup
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 c. Crisco oil
Preparation
    Cook carrots and when still firm, drain (about 10 minutes). Mix tomato soup and sugar.
    Add vinegar, 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon pepper.
    Beat and add oil.
    Add vegetables and refrigerate.
