Flour Tortillas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    3/4 c. hot water (maybe more if needed)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt and shortening.
    Add hot water a little at a time.
    Mix until firm.
    Let stand.
    Make rounds (testales).
    Roll out with a rolling pin (palote).
    Cook on hot griddle (comal) with low flame.
    Serve with meal or add butter.
