Marinated Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. shrimp, cooked, peeled and deveined
    2 or 3 medium onions, cut into rings
    1/2 c. oil
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 bay leaf (optional)
    1/4 tsp. Tabasco
    1/4 c. lemon juice (fresh)
Preparation
    Fill bowl with alternate layers of shrimp and onions.
    Combine vinegar, water, salt, sugar and spices in saucepan.
    Bring to boil; cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Cool mixture.
    Add lemon juice and oil.
    Pour over shrimp.
    Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
    Drain off marinade and serve.
